Applicants are screened to ensure the safety of our placed cats. If you are interested in adopting with us then fill out the application on the left of this page and we will respond within 48-72 hours.

Our public adoption events consist of sterilized and fixed kittens looking for new homes. These events are held at Incredible Pets and Petco locations. Coordinated dates, times and locations can be seen below.

All of our cats are tested, spayed/neutered, wormed, and all vaccines up-to-date. We pride ourselves on having healthy cats and kittens. Since these animals come from situations we have no control over, we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. The following questions are designed to help SAKrescue find the animals in our care a suitable, safe, healthy and loving home.

1) Submit adoption application for review.

3) Schedule personal meet and greet with your pet.(1hr)

4) Contract signing and $80 adoption fee.

5) Pet will be delivered to your home. (usually same day)

Our main adoption site is located at Incredible Pets on 4005 Manzanita, Carmichael, CA. Adoptions are held there the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of every month from 11am to 3pm.
